Feasibility Study on the Effects of Meditation on Decentering and Self-compassion
收藏资源简介:
This study aims to evaluate the immediate effects of decentering and self-compassion interventions, investigating their ability to enhance state decentering and state self compassion, respectively. We aim to recruit 90 healthy participants. The study is a randomized controlled trial with three experimental conditions: a decentering intervention, a self-compassion intervention. Participants will first answer questionnaires regarding trait and state variables (self-esteem, decentering and self-compassion) and are then randomly assigned to one of the three experimental conditions in which they will listen to audio files. The findings will contribute to understanding how these constructs interact and their roles in fostering adaptive self-regulation strategies. unknown other
