Borehole measurements of active layer thickness (ALT) and mean annual ground temperature (MAGT) in the permafrost regions of the Tibetan Plateau, compiled from published studies, are recorded in the Excel file. Simulation results for ALT and MAGT under various climate scenarios (1980–2100), along with the thawed soil organic carbon released by permafrost degradation, are stored in the netCDF files.
