FEM-Based Cutting-Force Dataset for End Milling of AL6061 Aluminum Alloy
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains cutting-force time-series obtained from FEM-based numerical modeling of end milling of AL6061 aluminum alloy. The dataset includes 11 simulation cases covering axial cutting depths of 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, and 1.5 mm; spindle speeds of 4000, 6000, and 8000 rpm; and a fixed feed rate of 1500 mm/min. The exported data include simulation step, time, total stroke, total velocity, force/load components along X, Y, and Z, stroke and velocity components, surface_area_mm2, tangent-related auxiliary values, and rotation angle. The publication package includes processed CSV files, per-case CSV files, a source Excel workbook, case summary, data dictionary, tool geometry metadata, FEM setup notes, cleaned figure panels, and a reproducible processing script. The modeled cutting tool is a two-flute carbide end mill for aluminum machining. The workpiece material label is AL6061, and the tool material label is carbide with 15% Cobalt, with tool-material hardness HV 1200-1300.
