Annual number of POS terminals in Slovakia 2000-2023

The total number of point of sale (POS) terminals in Slovakia increased significantly during the period of 2000-2023, reaching a total of more than 100 thousand terminals as of 2023. This is an increase from 2021, when around 79 thousand POS terminals were documented in Slovakia. Cash payments have accounted for over two thirds of all transactions over the past five years: in 2019, 72.4 percent of payments were made in cash.

自2000年至2023年期间，斯洛伐克的销售点（POS）终端总数显著增长，截至2023年，总量已超过10万台。这一增长趋势从2021年就已显现，当年斯洛伐克记录的POS终端数量约为7.9万台。在过去五年中，现金支付占据了所有交易额的三分之二以上：2019年，72.4%的支付均以现金形式完成。
