Dataset: Vegetation mapping and ecological restoration priorities in the Mont Fouari Wildlife and Flora Reserve (Republic of the Congo)

This dataset accompanies the scientific article entitled: "Vegetation Mapping and Ecological Restoration Priorities in the Mont Fouari Wildlife and Flora Reserve (Republic of the Congo)" The dataset contains the tabular data produced during the study, including: • areas and proportions of the main vegetation formations identified within the Mont Fouari Wildlife and Flora Reserve; • characteristics of the ecological restoration priority areas; • ecological priorities and associated restoration actions. The analyses were performed using Copernicus Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellite imagery acquired in 2025, combined with spatial analyses carried out in QGIS. The published files correspond exclusively to derived research data produced by the authors. Original Copernicus imagery and third-party datasets (e.g. OFAC) are not redistributed. The dataset is released to support transparency, reproducibility and reuse of the scientific results in accordance with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable).
