Datasets from the paper "Beyond venomous fangs: Uloboridae spiders have lost their venom but not their toxicity". These include: Dataset1.tsv: table with annotations of the filtered transcripts and their relative expression levels as TPM. Only transcripts that have passed our quality filtering pipeline are included. Database abbreviations and tissue sample abbreviations are explained within the file. Dataset2.tsv: table with annotations of the 124 toxin-like transcrips and their relative expression levels as TPM. Database abbreviations and tissue sample abbreviations are explained within the file. defensin.aln: alignment of the mature peptide region of the defensin sequences OrthoVenn3_Orthogroups.txt: Orthogroups of Uloborus plumipes de novo transcripts from this study and Uloborus diversus from genome GCF_026930045 transcripts_aa.fasta: fasta file with the amino acid sequences translated using Borf. This file includes all the sequences (not quality-filtered). transcripts_nt.fasta: fasta file with the nucleotide sequences assembled de novo with rnaSpades. This file includes all the sequences (not quality-filtered). transcripts_nt_aa_map.txt: This file is from Borf output and it list the transcript sequence headers, the header of the corresponding translated sequence, coordinates of the reading frame, strand, completeness. Refer to the Borf paper for additional information. cds_nt.fasta: fasta file with only the quality-filtered sequences. The transcripts have been trimmed to remove the UTRs and include only the coding sequence. Six sequences are duplicated as they possess two alternative open reading frames.
