The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is a diverse network comprising of dynamic functional and structural domains. Many factors are responsible for the maintenance of this balance between the ER morphology dynamics and functions. In this study we used full genome expression profile of the Huh-7 cell line and observed a relative high presence of ER tubule shaping genes like the RTN4, RTN3, and REEPs in comparison with ER sheet (CLIM63) and housekeeping genes (CANX and CALR).
