Aetokthonos hydrillicola presence dataset.csv

This dataset contains occurrence records for an invasive and toxic species of cyanobacteria, Aetokthonos hydrillicola, growing on Hydrilla verticillata. Records include the lake name, latitude and longitude coordinates, and the state in which the occurence was documented. Samples of Hydrilla verticillata were collected using a throw rake. A subset of leaves from Hydrilla samples was removed and mounted on microscope slides. Presence of Aetokthonos hydrillicola was confirmed using epifluorescent microscopy. GPS coordinates, lake names, and states were recorded for each Hydrilla sample location.
