Image-based Individual Tree Delineation Dataset

This is the image-based individual tree delineation (ITD) dataset for the International ITD Contest 2024. The dataset provides imagery accquired from 11 study sites around the world using airplane or UAV platforms, with resolutions ranging from 2 to 10 cm. As the reference for training and evaluation, more than 600,000 manually annotated individual tree crown masks are provided for over 11,000 images. Detailed information are shown in the manuscript of publication. The training and validation sets include both image and labels for ITD model development and the testing set provides only images. The dataset is organized by the MS COCO Format. The performance on testing set can be evaluated by submitting the ITD results to the benchmark platform. The ranking and scores are displayed on the leaderboard on the benchmark platform.
