This dataset is developed by monitoring the concentrations of nutrient elements in rice cropland soil of Zhongtai Subdistrict, Yuhang District, and analyzing the NPK ratio data, which is applied in multiple scenarios including precise formulation of scientific fertilization schemes, adjustment of planting structures, and soil quality monitoring. Its goals are to ensure optimal nutrient supply for crops, reduce costs and environmental pollution, maintain soil health, guide crop variety selection and crop rotation, adapt to climate change, enhance agricultural resilience to environmental changes, improve agricultural production efficiency, and promote an agricultural development model that achieves a win-win outcome for ecological conservation and economic benefits. The dataset collects the contents of soil chemical elements including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), and analyzes the proportions of these three elements in the soil: 1. Content change = current element content at the measurement time minus the initial element content at the start of monitoring; 2. The content warning interval denotes the normal concentration range of the target element in soil. The warning value is set to 0 when the element content is within the normal range, and 1 when the content is abnormal. The NPK ratio requirement refers to the optimal proportion of N, P and K required for crop growth derived via scientific calculation. The actual NPK proportion is calculated as (N content / P content) : 1 : (K content / P content) based on the measured soil chemical element contents, normalizing all element contents against the phosphorus content. By comparing the actual proportion with the preset NPK ratio requirement, the dataset provides guidance for future fertilization decisions and crop structure adjustment. Rational utilization of the analysis results of N, P and K contents can better protect soil resources, improve agricultural production efficiency, and promote the sustainable development of the ecological environment.
