Telomeric repeat arrays at the ends of chromosomes are highly dynamic but both their repetitive structure and technological constraints pose challenges in evaluating variation in genome diversity panels. As part of a larger study to characterize the fine-scale telomeric repeat spectrum in Arabidopsis thaliana, we assembled the genomes of 3 North American accessions from the lineage known as haplogroup-1 (HPG1), which form a clade of natural mutation accumulation lines whose common ancestor lived about 400 years ago. This project collects the genomic PacBio HiFi reads, and the corresponding de novo genome assemblies of A. thaliana HPG1 accessions: 14INRCT07, Pent-46, and LI-EF-011. The publication itself includes analyses of other 71 genetically diverse A. thaliana accessions previously released under European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) Accessions IDs PRJEB55353 and PRJEB62038, and China's National Genomics Data Center (NGDC) Accession ID PRJCA012695.
