BJM02-010 - Elicitation of argument-selecting structures in Nasal with Johan

This elicitation session features discussions of sentence structure and syntax of Nasal, including intransitive sentences, relativization, reflexivization, and control with Johan. It was recorded in an outdoor structure in a garden near a rice field in Gedung Menung. Two other men arrive to the garden in the middle of the recording and can be seen passing through the frame multiple times. About 1 hour into the recording, one of the men (Ahyat) joins the recording session in the structure and contributes as a participant for about 5 minutes. Audio was recorded using a 4-channel Tascam DR-701D. Johan wore an AKG C520 headset microphone and his audio was recorded (in Mono) through the DR701-D. In addition to the headset microphone a stereo microphone was placed on the floor among the speakers and recorded to the Tascam DR701D. Audio was recorded in WAV format at 128kHz, 32 bit. Video was recorded using a Canon XA30, which has an external audio input, set up on a tripod. Camera audio was recorded using a R√∏de NTG2 shotgun microphone connected through the camera's external audio input. Video was recorded in AVCHD format at 30fps with 1920 x 1080 resolution..
