Transcriptomic sequencing was performed on testes from C57BL/6 mice exposed to intermittent hypoxia (IH) from 2 to 6 weeks of age. The IH exposure protocol consisted of a 120-second cycle, beginning with a reduction in oxygen to a nadir of 8% sustained for 30 seconds, followed by rapid reoxygenation with pure oxygen and a return to normal oxygen levels for 30 seconds. The treatment was administered daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for a period of 1 to 4 weeks, with normal oxygen levels maintained for the remainder of the time. This study aimed to investigate the impact of hypoxia during early development on male reproductive function.
