Data and results for 2025 Sagaing, Myanmar earthquake

This dataset contains original surface deformation observations and the refined slip model for the 2025 Mw 7.8 Sagaing earthquake. The observational data include processed Sentinel-1 and ALOS-2 InSAR line-of-sight (LOS) displacements, azimuth offsets, and east/north optical displacements derived from Sentinel-2 imagery. The refined coseismic slip distribution, inverted from these observations via ECAT (kefuhe/ECAT: Earthquake Cycle Analyse Toolkits), is provided on a triangular fault mesh with 3 km spacing at the top and 6 km at depth. The model captures three major slip asperities, with a maximum slip of ~4.5 m and total moment equivalent to Mw 7.8. Slip distribution is provided in a GMT-compatible format.
