In 2012, the impervious areas for the entire city were digitized using the 2007 and 2012 aerial imagery. The impervious layer is categorized into 11 types and can be symbolized based on these categories: Building *, Paved Drive *, Paved Parking *, Paved Playground *, Paved Roadway *, Paved Surface *, Unpaved Drive *, Unpaved Parking *, Unpaved Playground, Unpaved Walk. (*This category will be included in the storm water ERU impervious surface calculation). Data is updated throughout the year as new structures are built or existing ones demolished. Parcels that have a calculated versus a flat fee are prioritized for update. The data needs further updates as of 2015. As it taken from aerial photography it includes both interpretation and positional accuracy problems.
