Macrolide Oraux pour Reduire les Deces avec un Oeil sur la Resistance (MORDOR) is a cluster-randomized trial comparing communities randomized to oral azithromycin with those randomized to placebo. We hypothesize that mass azithromycin treatments will reduce childhood mortality. MORDOR54 evaluated the impact of prolonged mass drug distribution on the gut resistome of children in communities.
