Expanded species diversity of fungi in mine tailings and their potential ecological roles revealed by PacBio sequencing

This study employed third-generation PacBio full-length sequencing technology to achieve high-resolution profiling of fungal diversity within non-ferrous metal mine tailings ecosystems.Our findings comprehensively explored the species composition of metalliferous tailings fungal communities and provided a theoretical basis for tailings ecological remediation and microbial resource mining.
