AUTS2 is required for neuron production in developing cerebral cortex (RNA-seq)

AUTS2 gene is highly associated with neurodevelopmental disorders such as intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorders. In addition, AUTS2 variants have been reported to associate with microcephaly. However, the mechanism of its pathogenesis remains unclear. Here we report the RNA-seq data of radial glial cells (RGCs) and intermediate progenitor cells (IPCs) at embryonic day (E) 15.5 in Auts2flox/flox and Emx1Cre/+; Auts2flox/flox mice. To isolate RGCs and IPCs from the cortex, we used an anti-CD133 antibody and EomesT2A-d2EGFP/+ knock-in mice. Each of the six biological replicates were analyzed.
