The complete mitochondrial genome of Batocera calanus Parry, 1844 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae)

In the present research, we conducted sequencing and annotation of the entire mitochondrial genome of B. calanus and examined its general structural features. These outcomes can act as a basis for subsequent investigations into B. calanus and associated species. The phylogenetic study will offer valuable understanding regarding the evolutionary history of the mitochondrial genome in this organism. Additionally, the mitochondrial genome information of B. calanus plays a crucial role in taxonomic analyses. This research will further contribute to the creation of management approaches for cerambycid pests, leading to improved productivity in fruit tree cultivation and timber generation.
