Assessment of changes in the hepatic transcription profile in high-fat diet-fed juvenile mice gavaged with Prevotella copri

Male C57BL/6J mice aged 3 weeks were randomly divided into 3 groups. (1) Control group: mice were given standard chow diet and gavaged with sterile PBS twice a week; (2) HFD group : mice were given high-fat diet (60% fat) and gavaged with sterile PBS twice a week; (3) HFD+PC group: mice were given HFD and gavaged with P. copri (10^9 CFU/mouse) twice a week. All mice were euthanized at the end of week 5. In this part of the experiment, liver samples were used to isolate total RNA. RNA-seq analysis were used to detect the changes in the hepatic transcription profile.
