The purpose of this study was to evaluate the fecal microbiome in dogs with inflammatory bowel disease. We targeted the 16S rRNA gene for 454-pyrosequencing analysis. Samples from healthy dogs and dogs with inflammatory bowel disease (pre- and post-treatment) were analyzed.
