Dataset for "Estimating Annual Average Daily Traffic on Local Roads: Integrating Spatial Insights with Machine Learning"

This dataset provides estimates of annual average daily traffic and vehicle kilometres travelled for road links in England and Wales in 2021, disaggregated by vehicle type and fuel type. The release contains two main components: prediction outputs, organised by metric and unified grid; and road network reference files, containing road geometry and release metadata. Each CSV file contains predictions for road links located within a single 100 km × 100 km Ordnance Survey National Grid cell. Road geometry is derived from Ordnance Survey Open Roads.
