Purpose: to investigate occupancy of Pol II and H3K27Ac on the HCMV and cellular genomes at early times post-infection in a lytic model Overall design: MRC5 cells were infected with the TB40/E wtGFP strain of HCMV. Cells were left in culture for 24 hours, and then processed for Pol 2 and H3K27Ac ChIPseq analysis.
