This dataset contains all the videos from the snapshots in the article "Time-dependent behaviour of industrial granular materials under vibration: modelling and phenomenology" - Journal of Chemical Engineering Science. The publication deals with the densification kinetics of industrial granular materials using a particle damper. The densification/compaction is obtained by harmonic vibration with no time between excitations. All videos are named as the figure number from the publication. Also, two other videos were added to show some other phenomena observed. Online resource 1 shows the granulation of Sericite, a highly cohesive powder (mica) when vibrated at 11.5 g acceleration and 125 Hz frequency. The video is taken after 8 million excitations. Online resource 2 shows the fluidization during vibration for a slightly cohesive powder Avicel PH102 vibrated at 5.34 g acceleration and 30 Hz frequency. This video focus on the bubbling phenomena observed during the first seconds of vibration.
