FoodXcess Food Collection Log (Responses)

This dataset contains quantitative data collected as part of the FoodXcess initiative at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), a student-led surplus food redistribution programme. The dataset includes monthly and aggregated records of surplus edible food redistributed (kg) across selected residential college cafeterias and derived estimates of avoided carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions calculated using published emission conversion factors. Data were collected during a pilot, real-world intervention and are intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and future comparative research on campus food waste reduction initiatives. All data are aggregated to protect participant anonymity.
