Since 2014 there is an increase in the intensity of awareness about 3D printing throughout the country. The major challenge that we faced is the amount of precision that this technology can provide in getting stability. This paper analyses how 3D printing technology can be used in aerospace industries, not only for making small Satellite or components but also for the complete structure of the rocket with less economical constrains. The main objectives of this paper are to design and manufacture a model rocket using 3D printing technology with high accuracy & with no payload present in it. And also examine how it can lead us to achieve a better flight characteristic after the launch is executed. It is expected to achieve an apogee of 1800 m. The performance of the rocket conjointly depends on the mechanics of a rocket body. This however refers to the air flow over the surface of the rocket and conjointly however affects and contributes to the drag and stability of the rocket. The lower the drag more is the stability, and accordingly we achieve high aerodynamics performance. Generally, ogive nose cone and fins are designed in such a way that helps in minimising the resultant drag force impacting on- the rocket. Model engineering science has been a favourite hobby for the engineers associated with aerospace or aeronautical industries. Firstly, we had to try and do the calculation for every part as while producing we need to be certain that there's no error in it (zero-error). If there’s even a minute error in calculating, it might cause huge variation within the results. What is of the most important is producing all those elements with high accuracy, which might take a protracted amount of time to finish the model rocket. 3D printing is used to manufacture models of complicated structure which can’t be manufactured by other construction techniques. It can also be used for manufacturing precise structure which may be pricy to make by completely different techniques. 3D printed models can easily be streamlined to make them have those swoopy organic shapes that are a lot more aerodynamic. These are a few advantages why 3D printers are to be preferred.
