Climate-vegetation-fire model output data simulating contemporary global wildfire patterns. This dataset contains spatially explicit outputs from a climate-vegetation-fire model simulating contemporary global wildfire patterns. The University of Victoria Earth System Climate Model v2.9 (UVic ESCM) to which a mechanistic fire model was added, was used for these simulations. This deposit also contains various input and validation datasets, the code for the fire module which was added to UVic ESCM, and the python code used to process the data for analysis and visuals.
