The knockdown of Tmod, an actin-capping protein, decreases the expression of proteasomal degradation genes and increase expression of oxidative metabolism genes. It is also critical for the correct expression of larval actin isoforms. Performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 2 experimental groups (tmodRNAi vs mCherryRNAi), with 3 samples each. Each sample contains the transcriptome of 7-10 Drosophila larva muscle enriched lysates.
