Internet Of Things From A Business Perspective - The Iot Literature Classification Framework

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an important development in the context of business information systems. The IoT, as a foundation for cyber-physical information systems, has similar potential for revolutionizing business as cloud computing over the last decade. The purpose of the current article is to formulate and apply a framework in order to take a quantitative snapshot of current literature on the IoT from a business perspective. Our results give an overview on important areas and will support future studies in research and practice. This dataset contains the IoT literature classification framework as MS Excel file.
