Structure and mechanism of anti-phage retron Eco2

The goal is to identify the cleavage positions of ribonuclease Eco2 in E. coli MG1655 during the infection of bacteriophages T2 and T5. Bacteria expressing the Eco2 defense system were infected at MOI 10, at different time points, small RNA fractions were extracted and small RNA sequencing library was prepared using adapter ligation based method. The datasets include sequencing of Eco2, control Eco2 with deactivated ribonuclease TOPRIM domain (dTOP), at time points 10 min, 30 min, 1h, 3h after the infection. Each condition is in two biological replicates.
