Synthetic 3D models of unconfined aquifers and recharge estimates from groundwater age

This collection includes 20000 3D synthetic models of unconfined aquifers in sedimentary deposits, each containing 4 properties (porosity, permeability, groundwater age, and recharge estimate). Those models were simulated to better understand the impact of sedimentary heterogeneities on recharge estimates using groundwater age and Vogel's model. To make sure the distribution of sedimentary heterogeneities were as plausible as possible, porosity and permeability were computed from sediment proportions simulated by a landscape evolution model, CHILD.
