Hedgehog hide is the dry skin of <em>Erinaneus europaeus </em>L. or <em>Hmiechinus dauricus Sundevall</em>. Hedgehog hide is an animal drug in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). HPLC combined with mass spectrometry was used to detect protein and polypeptide components in <strong>Scalded Hedgehog Hide</strong>. PEAKS software was applied to search library and make identification analysis.
