Single Individual Genome of Lipoptena mazamae

Generation of a genome assembly from a single individual adult using long-read sequencing and Hi-C scaffolding. The goal of this project was to generate a high-quality reference genome for Lipoptena mazamae to enable comparison with related Hippoboscidae, including the European deer ked (Lipoptena cervi).
