Dataset: Geotechnical Properties and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) Values of Soil Samples from Türkiye

This dataset contains 382 soil samples collected from the laboratory archives of the Türkiye highways, representing diverse geological regions. Each record includes seven geotechnical input features Gravel Content (G, %), Sand Content (S, %), Fines Content (FC, %), Liquid Limit (LL, %), Plasticity Index (PI, %), Maximum Dry Density (MDD, kN/m³), and Optimum Moisture Content (OMC, %) and the corresponding target California Bearing Ratio (CBR, %) value. This dataset was used in the study: "Generalizing Local Explainability of Machine Learning for California Bearing Ratio Prediction Using SHAP and LIME–BORDA Approaches" submitted to Advanced Engineering Informatics (Manuscript No. ADVEI-D-26-01724).
