Water vapour DiAL LEANDRE 2 (V1) from SAFIRE/ATR42 aircraft during HyMeX SOP1

The water vapour differential absorption lidar (DiAL) LEANDRE 2 was flown onboard the SAFIRE ATR 42 during the HYMEX SOP 1. It was available from 11-Sep-2012 to 26-Nov-2012 for 22 flights. LEANDRE 2 provides atmospheric water vapour mixing ratio profiles with a vertical resolution of 300 m and a horizontal resolution of roughly 1 km. Atmospheric backscatter profiles are also provided (unitless) with the same horizontal resolution and a vertical resolution of 30 m. Water vapour mixing ratio profiles are re-gridded to 30 m.<br />
Each data file (provided as netCDF) corresponds to a so-called leg for a given flight. The length of the legs is a function of the complexity of the flight track, and is highly variable from one flight to the next.<br />
