This dataset was submitted by Romain Guyot (IRD) on behalf of Nestlé Health Science. Transposable elements (TEs) are major drivers of genome diversification in plants, yet their evolutionary dynamics and ecological determinants remain poorly understood. Here, we analyze 22 Coffea species to investigate how environmental gradients have influenced TE composition and activity across the genus.
