MEAN-5 Gross Primary Productivity Fusion Product over China from 2001 to 2020

This dataset provides a monthly 0.05° GPP fusion product for China from 2001 to 2020. Twelve GPP products were first harmonized, with coarse resolution products downscaled using NIRv as a proxy for subgrid photosynthetic activity. Five complementary products, GLASS, VPM, TL LUE, PML V2 and GOSIF, were then selected and fused. Validation against 33 ChinaFLUX towers yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.87 and an RMSE of 53.89 g C m⁻² month⁻¹.
