资源简介:
The development of obesity is associated with substantial modulation of adipose tissue (AT) structure. The plasticity of the AT is reflected by its remarkable ability to expand or to reduce in size throughout the adult lifespan. The expansion of AT is linked to the development of its vasculature. Adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ASCs) have the capacity to promote angiogenesis by their differentiation into endothelial cells (ECs). We used microarrays to detail the global miRNA expression profile underlying cell differentiation and identified distinct classes of up-regulated and down-regulated genes during this process. Human ASCs from white AT were obtained by surgical procedures from lean and obese patients. ASCs from fat depots of lean and obese subjects were induced to differentiate into ECs. The expression of 2025 pre-miRNAs and 2578 mature miRNAs was assessed using microarrays technology (miRNA 4.0 GeneChips, Thermo Fisher Scientificf).
