Numbering according to clade B isolate HIV-1HxB2. MPER analogs 09128 and C22-pT are both trimerized through an isoleucine zipper motif at the C-terminus. The amino acid position at 674 of both peptides is indicated in bold. Analog 08023 is a scrambled negative control peptide based on MPER sequence of analog 09122.
