Special Rating Areas (City Improvement Districts)

Special Rating Area (SRA) refers to a clearly defined geographical area, in which property owners contribute additional rates to fund ‘top up’ services for that specific area as per the approved Business Plan. Special Rated Areas as required by Finance Department, City of Cape Town.SRAs are governed by Section 22 of the Municipal Property Rates Act (MPRA), the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), the Companies Act (Non Profit Company - NPC), the SA Constitution and the City of Cape Town’s Special Rating Area By-law of 2012. All spatial layers are served live from internal systems, an item's "Last Updated" or "Publish Date" refers to the Metadata only.特殊评级区域（Special Rating Area，SRA）指经明确划定的地理区域，区内物业所有人需依照获批的商业计划，额外缴纳物业差饷以资助该特定区域的‘增补’服务。此类特殊评级区域需符合开普敦市财务部门的相关要求。特殊评级区域的管理遵循《市政物业差饷法案》（Municipal Property Rates Act，MPRA）第22条、《市政财务管理法案》（Municipal Finance Management Act，MFMA）、《公司法（非营利公司——NPC）》、南非宪法以及开普敦市2012年颁布的《特殊评级区域附则》。所有空间图层均由内部系统实时提供服务，某一数据项的‘最后更新时间’或‘发布日期’仅指代元数据信息。
