PML Benthic Survey macrofauna abundance and biomass data from five sites (Cawsand, L4, Rame, Eddystone and E1) and megafauna from one site (L4) in the Western English Channel surveyed between 2008 to 2013 containing data from samples analysed up to and including September 2013.

Macrofaunal and megafaunal abundance and biomass data from 0.1m2 sediment samples collected from 5 subtidal sites with very different sediment types around Plymouth. L4 sediments are mixed shell gravel; Cawsand muddy sand; Rame mud; Eddystone gravel and most recently E1 coarse sand. All fauna are identified to species where possible and blotted wet biomass recorded. The entire data set has not yet been identified with work continually in progress.
