## Overview Daily historical aggregates of fuel prices in Romania from **January 2015 to present**, covering five fuel types sold at the pump: - **Benzină standard 95** (95-octane petrol) - **Benzină premium 98/100** (premium petrol) - **Motorină standard** (standard diesel) - **Motorină premium** (premium diesel) - **GPL auto** (autogas / LPG) Prices are expressed in Romanian Lei (RON) per litre. Each row represents one day and contains the **minimum, average, and maximum** price observed across the national sample. ## Columns | Column | Description | |---|---| | `data` | ISO 8601 date (YYYY-MM-DD) | | `benzina_standard_min` / `_mediu` / `_max` | 95-octane petrol range (RON/L) | | `motorina_standard_min` / `_mediu` / `_max` | Standard diesel range (RON/L) | | `gpl_min` / `_mediu` / `_max` | Autogas range (RON/L) | | `benzina_premium_min` / `_mediu` / `_max` | Premium petrol range (RON/L) | | `motorina_premium_min` / `_mediu` / `_max` | Premium diesel range (RON/L) | | `nr_statii_eșantion` | Approximate number of stations in daily sample | ## Methodology Data is aggregated nationally from 1,518 gas stations monitored by [PretCarburant.ro](https://pretcarburant.ro/), reconciled from three public sources: 1. **ANPC Monitorul Prețurilor** — the official Romanian Competition Council price monitor API covering 343 UATs (administrative territorial units) 2. **Direct operator feeds** from SOCAR and OSCAR networks 3. **Public scraping** of major brand websites (Petrom, OMV, Rompetrol, MOL, Lukoil, Gazprom) and the aggregator peco-online.ro Outlier filtering is applied per fuel type with hard bounds: - Petrol: 5.50 – 12.00 RON/L - Diesel: 5.50 – 13.00 RON/L - LPG: 2.50 – 6.00 RON/L ## Data freshness The `pretcarburant-daily-prices.csv` file included in this upload represents a **snapshot at the upload date**.
