VPRS 14930 General Correspondence Subject Files

This series comprises correspondence files maintained by Loengatha Waterworks Trust (VA 4725), its administrative successor, Leongatha Water Board (VA 2235), and its administrative successor, South Gippsland Region Water Authority (VA 4239). The files contain inward and copies of outward correspondence relating to all functions undertaken by the Waterworks Trust, Water Board, and Water Authority.When the Leongatha Water Board commenced operations in 1984 it migrated some of the Leongatha Sewerage Authority's files and closed the remainder. The files migrated were those which it considered might be needed to record transactions in the future. It gave those files an S number.
