Reproducibility Package for "Reducing Credential Exposure Risk in UK SMEs: A Design Science Evaluation of Contextual Rule-Based Detection and Compliance Automation

This repository contains the reproducibility artefacts supporting the manuscript: “Reducing Credential Exposure Risk in UK SMEs: A Design Science Evaluation of Contextual Rule-Based Detection and Compliance Automation.” The package includes: • Synthetic benchmark generation scripts • Evaluation scripts for Gitleaks v8.30.0 and TruffleHog v3.93.4 • Public benchmark datasets (format-specification based) • Raw tool output reports • Test partition export utility • Requirements specification (Python 3.11, pandas 2.2.2) The Contextual Suppression Rule Architecture (CSRA) evaluated in the manuscript is deterministic and contains no machine learning components, trained classifiers, or probabilistic models. Operational SME datasets are not included due to contractual and data governance restrictions. This version aligns with the final manuscript submitted to Computers & Security.
