[DELETED ACCORDING TO WISH DEP -MP] From Ruling to Opposition: Islamist Movements and Non-Islamist Groups in Egypt 2011-2013-- 25 Interview Transcripts, Summaries and Audio Recordings

The interviews were part of an Arab-West Report project for a book on Islamist movements during the year 2013 "From Ruling To Opposition". Collected data sets were placed online in June 2016. Interviewees stem from different political parties, Islamic Organizations or are political analysts. The interviews deal with relations between Islamic groups / parties, social and political agendas for post-revolutionary Egypt and interviewees shed light on their understanding of terms like "Islamism" and how Islam as a religion should relate to the fabric of society.In most cases the agreement for publication of the transcripts was requested and no objection was received, i.e. the research team didn’t receive an answer / requests were ignored. In exceptional cases, interviewees gave their explicit consent for publication.The interviews were conducted either in English or Arabic.
