Perillo_bee_wasp_natural_forest_island

Bee and wasp (Aculeata: Hymenoptera) data were collected in the southern region of the Espinhaco Mountain Range, southeastern Brazil. We selected 14 natural forest fragments inserted in open matrix named campos rupestres and collected using three different methods in 4 different periods (FEB2014 - AUG2014 - FEB2015 - AUG2015). The methods were: 1. Moericke traps (4 traps per forest fragment remaining 48 hours in the field in each season; 2. Pitfall traps (10 traps per forest fragment remaining 48 hours in the field in each season; 3. Malaise trap (1 trap per forest fragment remaining 7 days in the field in each season. All collected insects were deposited on Taxonomic collection of Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
