The values are expressed as the means±SE. n = 6 for each group.*P#PPVN: paraventricular nucleus; RSNA: renal sympathetic nerve activity; MAP: meanarterial pressure; IR: insulin resistance. For each side of the PVN, the microinjection volume was 50 nL for each chemical used in this study.
