Share of renewable energy in heating and cooling consumption in France 2005-2023

The share of renewable energy consumption into the heating and cooling sector in France amounted to 29.6 percent in 2023. In 2005, only 11.7 percent of the energy consumed by the French heating and cooling sector came from non-fossil energy sources. This figure has increased steadily over the past decade.
