Lactobacillus paracasei fermented infant formula and maturation of gut microbiota

We designed a randomized controlled clinical trial in order to evaluate the effects of two different dietary regimens (standard formula and Lactobacillus paracasei CBA L74 fermented formula) versus the reference group of breast feeding. We evaluated with 16S rRNA gene profiling the effect of the type of feeding on the gut microbiome of full term infants according to the type of delivery.
