ACCUMULATION OF HUMID BIOMASS IN F3 HYBRID GENERATIONS OF BREAD WHEAT DURING VEGETATION AND ITS DISTRIBUTION BY MORPHOLOGICAL ORGANS

The article examines the accumulation of moist biomass during the growing season in F3 hybrid generations of bread wheat and the characteristics of its distribution across morphological organs. The studies analyzed the total moist biomass, the relative weight fraction of the spike, stem, leaf, and root, as well as their relationship. Some hybrid combinations exhibit a high proportion of spike and root biomass, which is attributed to their productivity and resistance to stress factors. The research results showed that biomass accumulation and distribution indicators serve as an important criterion for selecting productive genotypes in bread wheat breeding.
